Having Trouble Getting a COVID-19 Vaccine Appointment?

Stanford Healthcare in Redwood City Has Appointments Available!

Friends-

I know many of us have had difficulty finding an available appointment in San Mateo County for either the 1st or 2nd dose of the COVID-19 Vaccine.

I was just on NextDoor and came across a post from our State Senator, Josh Becker, about vaccine availability. In the thread, a neighbor shared that Stanford Healthcare had a lot of appointments available, particularly for folks in need of their 2nd dose. She explained that you did not need to be a Stanford Healthcare Member or a patient of Stanford affiliated Health Care Provider. Insurance is also not required.

I clicked on the link she provided, and sure enough, I was able to book an appointment for tomorrow in Redwood City!

The website is very user-friendly and will guide you through the steps. There are a few steps but, it is super easy and takes less than 5 minutes from start to finish.

Here's how to schedule your appointment

Go to: https://stanfordhealthcare.org/discover/covid-19-resource-center/patient-care/safety-health-vaccine-planning.html

  • Create an account (if you don't already have one)

  • Follow the steps to verify your identity (mine was 2-steps but, it was very simple)

  • Choose a password

  • Login to your new account

  • Book your appointment

It was really that easy!

Please share this information with your neighbors, family, and friends!

Stay Safe,
